Notice is hereby given that a hearing scheduled before the Montour County Board of Commissioners on an application by Talen Energy for a change in the zoning map has been Postponed. The hearing was scheduled for Wednesday, December 17, 2025 beginning at 9:30 a.m. in the Montour County Administration Center, 435 East Front Street, Danville, PA 17821.
The hearing on the application for a change in zoning designation of a number of parcels in Anthony Township from agricultural to industrial has been Rescheduled for Friday, January 23, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the gymnasium of First Baptist Church of Danville, 12 Brookside Drive, Danville, PA 17821. A back-up date in the event of inclement weather has been set for January 30, 2026 at the same time and location.
People may also make written comments, which may be submitted to the Commissioners Office, Montour County Administration Center, 435 East Front Street, Danville, Pa 17821 on or before Friday, January 16, 2026.
